wow.. seems like such a long time since i've blogged here.

our last outing was on monday, mx's birthday. funfun! dinner at thai express was good and we had even more fun making those funny disappearing videos later on. haha. i really enjoyed myself that day.

mx sorry your present was so screwed. a thousand apologies!

oh well. i can't wait for the hols. hotel stay!!

i feel so behind in school now. i cant seem to understand anything the teacher is talking about. i really need to do alot of studying. sigh. ok. i shall go sleep now. econs test on monday, it's a subject that i'm kinda really lost in.

hi guys, guess what, i just returned home from "training". we were susposed to have training, and they cancelled it e last minute. i didn't even know!!!! so heres e story, i left home at 4, reached school and stayed there for 5 minutes then left for home. feel like such an idiot!!! anyway ppl, dont think i'm having it easy this week, i've got tons of homework!!! that cannot seem to be completed!! including a chapter of physics: work energy power that is self learning... sigh.. i really wish we can meet up and go running together tmr... which brings me to another point, sa, pls start exercising, pls go do morning runs like how we used to in sec sch... run with your sis or something la!!!! ok its time to hit ow!! e books... talk ya...

Thank you all for celebrating my birthday with me. haha, you are all angels that God has specially put into my life and I'm eternally grateful! i love the present.

hey guys..

havent blogged for quite a while. about you guys going to poly and all. welll...hmmm. i'll give you guys my opinion. okay. i feel that it's entirely up to you all. after all poly provides a more hands on education as compared to JC. most pple say that poly is for ppl who alr decided what they want to do. actually it's totally wrong, cuz there will be turning points again at the end of poly education. mayb at the end of 3 yrs, you find that you dont actually like what you studied, but because you have a diploma alr, mayb you could start working or pursue a totally different degree at uni. take my sis for example, she took a diploma in buisness management majoring in tourism management. but she didnt really like it and took a totally different degree at uni in aussie. she took banking and finance. but at the end of the day, she had a diploma and a degree, more useful than an A-level cert and degree. and she is now doing very well in her career.

also, i heard of many cases where students who cannot make it thru the 1st yr of JC had to drop to poly, wasting 1 whole yr when you coud actually be doing more. but then again, you guys are blessed with smart brains and u all shld have no problem getting thru the 1st yr!

i've also heard frm my sis's husband, who used to be from CJC as well. he said JC didnt teach him stuff that they needed to be equiped with to go Uni. stuff like project works and all. JC's eduction is more text based. just like sec sch lah. thats why i didnt wanna go JC. i mean i don have to know what binomial theorem is or newton's theory of gravity when i work right? poly really equips you with the skills that you'll need in future for your job, and uni as well.

however, going the poly route is more difficult to get in to local U. i've got this thinking that my parents will send me to overseas Uni after my poly, so i'm not really worried about that. yeah, but for you guys, i know your parents will wanna send to local Uni. so it's really up to you guys.

another thing, in poly you really gotta be very very independent!!!

to mx: i think mel's add is correct. cuz melbourne is a city under the state of victoria, they have codes for their places so the no. that is after "Vic" determines the place. like for sydney, the addresses will usually end NSW XXXX or whatever. sydney is under new south wales.

4 days to go before the contract of official madness takes effect on monday when all 6 of us trudge to school having to face the stresses and irritations of jc life.... if only the holidays go on and on forever.... i hope all of you will be able to stay in your classes and adjust quickly to the new faces in cj... WHEN ARE WE GOING OUT?? i feel like sakae again... anyone game?? nj's rather empty now, now that half the cohort is gone, the parade square during assembly was damn eerily empty.

cel, you have a point, the orientation was damn boring that i wished i had lessons. i wouldn't mind if its fun things like station games, but it was talks and talks only!!!!

sa, good luck for your arts fest, why don't you videotape the whole thing and post it on the blog or something, so everyone can watch you sing, transcending international time zones and bounderies.

PAM AND MX ARE COMING TO CJ!

Hey! Rosegang!

Haven't blogged for a while and I shall do so this week because there's nothing much to do during orientation.

Speaking of orientation...it's been horribly boring the past two days. The only reason why I've been going to school's because of choir. School's not as interesting as it was a few weeks ago, I realised how much I love attending lectures and tutorials, not because of the lesson but because of the people there.

Most of us are probably going to be separated from our classes. :'( I really hate separations. The separations we've gone through these few months can't even be counted on one hand...

1. Sa leaving
2.Separation from IJ(the school)
3.Separation from the clique:(
4.Fully moving away from our comfort zone - meaning a change in system of education, school lives, friends...basically, a tremendous change in our lives.
5.separated from our first ogs
6.separated from our first jc classes

I can't even think of what to add on to the list anymore. But life has to move on I guess...I hope we're all doing fine.

Sa: HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! oh! You know what...I heard from Zelina who's in trinity college in australia that it's super fun there! Is your school fun too? Read about the numerous activities you have. Got a handsome boyfriend yet? *grins*Good luck for arts fest! You can do it...you have a beautiful voice!

Mx & pam: AJ's boring. get out! appeal to SA or smth..or even CJ. haha. Bern got into AJ and on the first day of orientation she messaged me saying "I dunno who's more boring. Brother paul or the AJ principal and his associates". And the next thing I knew...she's back in CJ again!

Aly and Nao: Rarely see you guys around nowadays...but I just saw Aly today and talked to her about Bern's return. HAHA. Nao...didn't wave at you the other day because i was too blind to see you. or you've lost too much weight and became too thin for me to see. I didn't mean to dao you!! sorry. haha

ghis: About your brother...it's too late for me to say anything now right? I can't really think of anything that would help...you're in a very difficult position. Sorry!

Everyone's been busy I suppose? But there should be time to meet up during the march holidays right? *ahem* hotel *ahem*

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MELISSA!!!!!!!!!

haha. hope you had fun ytd yarh.

anyway, i got into nanyang poly! yay! and my school only starts on the 17 april. woohoo! another whole month of holiday to enjoy! for the rest of you guys. well....enjoy your week of orientation! heehee.

oh yarh. The Youth Rally will be held on this coming Sat, 11th march, 6pm-9pm at SJI. those interested, please be there! St Anne's SALT group will have transport to the youth rally at SJI. if you guys dunno how to get there, come over to St Anne's and meet me, and we can go over together! Thanks!

mx, pam, aly and nao are extremely busy with RC HQ stuff. cuz they all went to join VIP(Volunteers Intructors Programme). so yarh, they are busy doing proposals and stuff like that. and they dont have time to blog and all. cel's subjects combi are rather heavy, so she's busy as well. so only left the few of us here to keep the blog going.
