I read a note my grandma wrote back in 1923
Grandpa kept it in his coat and he showed it once to me
He said," Boy you might not understand, but a long long time ago
Grandma's daddy din like me no one, but I loved your grandma so
We had this crazy plan to meet, and run away together
Get married in the first town we come to and live forever
But nailed to the tree where we supposed to meet instead
i found this letter and this is what it said
*If you get there before I do, don't give up on me
I'll meet you when my chores all through, I don't know how long I'll be
But i'm not gonna let you down, Darling wait and see
But between now and then till I see you again
I'll be loving you..love me
I read those words just hours before my grandma passed aways
In the doorway of a church where me and grandpa stopped to ray
I know I never seen him cry in all my fifteen years
But as he said those words to her
His eyes filled up with tears
* And between now and then till I see you again
I'll be loving you... love me

TO those slackers out there!! here is our account of the big walk 21/5/2006.

ghislaine: The big walk today was a great experience, something though intangible, but will make a significant imprint in your memory. For the walk this year, it was lonelier, as we were missing melissa, however, we also completed it much faster, also because of melissa. Though we set out later because aly overslept, when most of the people were almost on their way back, we reached the finish line earlier than we did last year, in a record time of 2h 30min! This time, we did not stopover at suntec city for a break. In fact, i think its safe to say that we were still feeling quite energetic after the walk. I hope in the near future, we'll be able to go for 2 rounds, a total of 20km. Along the way, we took numerous pictures, of the esplanade, suntec city, a weird looking building and also the fullerton hotel. we took the same pictures last year! This is big walk's swansong at the national stadium, and i'm feeling very happy that we went for it this time, despite our heavy schedules and workload. all the same, i'm rather excited for the walk next year, as it'll be a totally new scenary. after the walk, the trio proceeded to suntec city by BUS, take not melissa, by BUS! and binged. this is horrible, i mean eating without thinking, where we had creampuffs, and lots of free food from carrefour. mel, you must be thinking that i'm a cs right? but let me tell you this, mx was the one that ate most of the food.
ok guys, i'll leave aly and mx to tell you about part 2 and part 3 of the day. gotta run along now, see you guys soon!! <)

mx: muahaha! BIG walk was a fantastic exp. but poor aly didnt have sa to complain and walk slowly with, she had no choice but to follow us! wahahah! and she didnt complain man, just kept telling ghis "let's discuss GP." it's like walking with the sane and insane! and sa wasnt there to like be the in between, and without her, the 3 of us successfully took a bus back to suntec. but haha! she didnt quite get her way with food! anyway thanks for such a terrific exp. i love u guys:)
